As usually happens all the time, it all come down to the money we earn from our jobs, or in this case the pension we receive from the government. Because of these new changes that come in the first of January, some pensioners could be affected adversely. So, they may have to ask themselves and around, what could be done to minimize the loss of money they might incur.

Assets and pension cuts   

Dear readers, as we have said in our last post, Australian pensioners alarmed, here we are continuing to talk about the Australian pensions and the assets one has, which may result in some pension cuts from the first of January for some pensioners. Depending on what sort of pensioner you are, these changes affects you in some different ways. So, there are some pensioners that their pension does not change at all, some pensioners that will be losing part of their pension, and some will lose it altogether. So, if the pensioners are upset about this change, they are right to be upset.

Anyhow, now let us discuss that example that we have started in our last article, about Mr.  and Mrs Day, who own two houses, they live in one house and rent the other one. Then, we will talk about other cases, if we can and what some pensioner think about doing, because for every action there is a reaction, so, also the pension changes may bring some other changes.

Mr. and Mrs. Day, case about pensions.

First how much they received before, then how much they receive now, and then compare this with other pensioner, whether they are being discriminated, meaning that they are losing more pension that the others. Anyhow, we are only setting this case, in a way the it is easy to understand, so all figures are well rounded figure, and therefore they have not been worked out mathematically.

So, Mr. and Mrs Day have about $580,000 worth of assets beside their own residence;

Before the 1^st January change they received about $450.00 per fortnight each;

After the 1^st January change they will receive about $350.00 per fortnight each;

So, they will be losing about $100.00 per fortnight each, this is very upsetting because they have problems with renting the house. When the house is not rented, it is hard to live on $350.00 per fortnight. One should keep in mind that a single pensioner that has no assets, receives $873.90 per fortnight, and even they sometimes complain about living a modest decent life. So, let us talk about owning and renting a house, whether it is worth to keep things as they are, or they need to change a few things, to live their life at the level of everybody else. So, how renting a house affects the pensioners.

Owning and renting a house

People believe that owning and renting a house is the way to go; if you talk to any real-estate agent they will tell you that, but one should ask oneself, is it so all the time, or are there times when it does not work out in your favour, or the way you want, therefore, owning another house is not the best thing to have, which is the case of Mr. and Mrs. Day.

As we have said in our last article, today the Days’ and any house owner find it hard to rent their houses, because there are too many vacancies here in Brisbane. So, Mr and Mrs Day have rented their house for $400.00 per week, and they hope that the tenants will pay the rent on time, and will not damage the house while they are living there. They have worked out that as things are, after paying all the bills, they could average in a year over $200.00 a week net rent. They must estimate a conservative figure, because there are too many vacancies, and there have been times when their house has been vacant for months.

After going over all this stuff, one start to think that there is something wrong with the way things are set up. So, one would ask. Did the Day’s couple make a mistake when they invested in this property? As they were thinking that by having a property for rent, they could be better off when they retied and would have some extra money to enjoy in their old age; because as you can see, it did not work that way at all. In facts, they are worse off, because if they had only the house they are living in, they would have received a lot more pension, than what they are earning from their investment. They could have more good time for themselves, instead of trying to run their property for rent. One could almost feel sorry for them knowing what they are going through now.

One needs to ask, what sort of government is this, can they work out properly what they are doing? They tell the people to save their money for their old age, so that they can live a better life in their old age. But when the people reach their old age, they turn around and take that money away from you, by changing the laws. But that is not all, because they don’t take the money away from their own pensions, if anything they increase it, because their pensions is not assets tested.

What some people could do?

When those things that you have worked hard for, they don’t earn what you expected them to earn, and for that reason, you are ending up I n a financial disaster, since you are losing money. You may start thinking many things including about what you want to do, and what you could do with what you have.

In the case of Mr. and Mrs. Day they are losing so much that they may have to think about a different set up, so that they can receive a lot more pension and live an easier life.

As we have said in our previous article, Mr. and Mrs. Day are not on the best terms and they may divorce soon. So now that the pension has gone down more, this thinking of divorce comes back to their minds. Because if they are divorced, they will receive a single pension each. But that is not all, they will own a house each, so they have no more assets, so they will receive the full pension. Now let us see what difference it will make.

Today they receive about $350.00 per fortnight each.

If they are divorced they will receive, $873.90 each per fortnight.

Which is a lot more than what they receive today, the only question left here is will they do it?

Anybody that is losing that much money will certainly do it, to make sure, let us look at those figures again, but this time let us see, how much money they are losing in a year, if we work both pensions together:

Now, they would receive about $700.00 per fortnight, in a year they are receiving $18,200.00.

If they divorce, they will receive 873.90 each per fortnight, which will be $22,721.4 each.

Or 45,442.8 per year. So, they are losing $27,242.8 government pension in a year.

Our own views on this is this.

If people start divorcing, or doing something that entitles them to a full single pension in the future, you cannot blame them, because they have been pushed from the government to do it.

Now, before we finish talking about owning properties that affect the pensioners, let me say my point of view here-under.

Pensioners owing properties

The pensioners that own a rental property today are in a lot of trouble, because everything seems to have turned against them. First of all, the government cuts the pensions, then they cannot rent their properties unless they rent cheap, and also, they cannot sell their properties easily, because there are too many properties up for sale.

Some of you my readers think that I am exaggerating, because everybody things that the properties are always going up. But I tell you what, the boom on the property market for me is already ended, but people are not aware of it yet. When I drive around the street of Brisbane, there are too many signs of places for rent and for sale, when a few years ago, there were none. So, everybody that owns some real-estate should brace themselves now, for the rough ride ahead, this will also affect the pensioners that owns properties of course.

Anyhow, we want to conclude this article now, by saying that the pensioners are having a hard time no matter where they turn they find problems.

Therefore, in the future, they better plan to own just a house, and then collect the full pension from the government. It is a lot easier that way

Australian pensioners alarmed

Let us start from the beginning

This is a photo of the 2014 Australian treasurer Joe Hockey, as it appears in Facebook. Here we have given him the name fat cat, not only because he is fat, but also because he earns too much money. It would be fair if he asks for a pay cut.

Let us start from the beginning

Let us start from the beginning and talk about the man that brought in this disaster, because he was unable to see what his budget would do to the Australian pensioners and other institutions. This disastrous budget was delivered from the then treasurer Joe Hockey the 13 of May 2014, today we are still finding how terrible this budget was. Because the 1^st of January 2017 some Australian pensioners have lost some pension payments, which we are going to talk about in this article. But first let us see how the expert have described this budget at that time.  So, here I quote:

The austere budget faced widespread criticism and was overwhelmingly rejected by the Australian public as reflected in all opinion polls after its release.^[3][4][5] Opposition to "unfair" budget measures came from the opposition and cross-bench, pensioners, economists, the union movement, students and welfare, community and disability groups with some taking to the streets in protest. The budget included changes which were contrary to pre-election commitments and promises made by the Liberals in opposition.^[6] Critics argue that every one of the following pre-election commitments made by Tony Abbott were broken in the first budget: "No cuts to education, no cuts to health, no change to pensions, no change to the GST and no cuts to the ABC or SBS."^[7][8] Echos of the "dead and buried" Fightback! policy package from the 1993 election occurred with proposals to defer unemployment benefits for six months for under 30s and the removal of GP bulk billing. Most proposals have since been shelved, dumped or modified.

Anyhow today Joe Hockey, has moved out of politics, but the politician have given him a very good job, with a very good pay. Meanwhile the Australian pensioners are hurt from those changes to the assets test that he proposed. Here one would ask, if he really wanted to save money to the government by cutting the pension, why he didn’t propose to cut his own pay and the other politician, since they seem to receive a ridiculous high pay for their services. We think that this is only fair, since we are all in the same boat of Australia. Now, let us talk about the Australian pensioners.

 Pensioner are alarmed   

Yes, dear readers, today the Australian pensioners are alarmed, they are alarmed because they feel that the Australian government is ripping them off. They feel ripped off because the changes that are taking place from the first of January 2017 are unfair to some of them. We believe that they are right to feel alarmed and upset, so, we are going to view and write what they are concerned about.

Therefore, in this article let us talk about these Australian pensions, since most of us would be personally interested about. I should admit that I am not an expert in politics and government matters, however sometimes we try to have our say. As you know we have talked about the Italian politics in a few articles, we have written one about Obama the American politics too. So, now let us talk about ourselves, the Australian politics and a few things that affect us directly, we are going to talk about the Australian Pensions that are changing, from the first of January. This change is going to hurt a lot of people that rely on part of the Australian government pension in their old age.

Here we are talking about retirees that have not got enough of their own funds to retire and live a modest decent life, so, they rely on the Australian government for a full pension or part pension. This article is being written to express the alarming views of some part pension retirees, which are going to be affected from this change. In their views, what hurts most here is that the people that have got no assets, because they have never worked hard and tried to save money they will still receive the full pension from the government, but those that have worked hard and saved their money, hoping to have just a bit extra cash when they retied will have the pension reduced and in some cases completely cut off. we believe that that is not right, because it is the people that have worked hard and saved their money, are the people that have paid most taxes in the past.

Anyhow, here are some figures that have been published on the net.  

About 330,000 Australians will find their pension cut from the 1^st of January- 90,000 will be losing it entirely, because of the tighter assets test. I believe that it is not fair, because it is already hard for pensioners to live a modest life peacefully.

So, if the federal government loses next election, because of what they have done, they deserve it. Anyhow, let us look at some possible outcome, and how people could react to these pensions cut. Here we are going to write about some imaginary case of what some people could do, because they feel that they are being discriminated and punished for being good honest citizen.

Anyhow, here we are going to talk about a case or two, as an example. You see, before this pension was cut, this couple had accepted that the government would give them only a part pension, so, they tried to live with that, but now that pension is being cut, so they don’t know what to do, because it is going to be hard for them to live a decent modest life. Let us talk about their concerns.

Some pensioners’ concerns

Here we cannot use real names, so, the name that appear in here are not their real names.

Mr. John Day and Mrs. Ann Day are two aged pensioners, they have received a part pension for few years now, as they are both 70 years old, so, they are aged pensioners.

Anyhow let us describe how this change will affect them, in this case of Mr. and Mrs Day.

Mr and Mrs Day own two houses, they both live in the same house, even though they are not on the best terms with each other, and it is said that they will end up divorced soon. Anyhow they are still living under the same roof as husband and wife, so they receive their pension as a couple, which is less than if they had the pension paid as single people, so they start thinking if they are doing the right thing, or they should do a few things to improve their financial position. So, let us compare what is happening to their pension first.  

 As we have said, Mr and Mrs Day have two house one they live in and another one they rent, so, the house they rent is calculated as an asset, the value of the house is set at 520,000 dollars, add to that a few more things they have, they have 550,000 dollars’ assets, so their pension is calculated on these assets, as it was before they told me that they were getting from the government about 450 per fortnight each, from the 1^st of January, they are going to get about 350 dollars per fortnight each. This is not enough to live with even if you try hard.

The house they rent, today it is rented at 400 dollars per week, because they could not rent it any higher, now, that is not net money, because they have to pay all the fixed expenses, like the rates, the water and other urban utilities, the insurance, the maintenance. But that is not all, because sometimes the house is vacant for several weeks until a new tenant is found. So, there are times when in a year, they can average from the house only a bit more than 200 dollars per week.

Here one needs to ask, where and how the government people work out this new law about the assets and how much you earn. I believe that it should be worked on a real possibility that you would be able to earn at least as much money as the full pension, before they cut the pension.

Anyhow, at this point of time I believe that this article is becoming too long, so, the facts and figure about this example will be discussed in our next article.

The President of the US Barack Obama is a good man, but in my views he has got a problem with his own people, because he cannot guide them as their leader, since he doesn't talk to them as if he his their patriarch. Since in that position, he could tell them what to do. He talks to them as their brothers and let them do whatever they want. So, he has lost a great opportunity while he was in office.
Another thing that worries me, is that he seems to like the Muslim people instead of their usual friends the Israelite.

Dear readers, this post and a couple more posts after this, they are not the usual posts that we post, because we feel that we have a few things else important enough to say, we will come back to our usual post after that. Now let me tall you what I want to say.

Barack Obama, the most potent leader in the world has got a leadership problem.

Dear readers, today I would like to say something about the outgoing US president Barack Obama, as I feel that we had a greater expectation from him, when he took office 8 years ago, we thought then that he would have been able to control the racial issues that exist in America better than any other person, since he would represent those people that felt discriminated from the rest of the main communities, but this did not happen for many reasons, one of the reasons I believe is Obama himself, so, in this article, I am going to write some of my personal views why it did not work. I am writing also what is happening now, and why I don’t agree with it. However, let me first explain why I am writing this article.  

You see, I have written a few articles about the Italian problems lately, since I am an Italian and I felt that I wanted to have my say, having written those problems and the politics part that goes with it. When I watched the world news, I became concerned about the American politics and about what I heard President Barack Obama is doing these days, because I don’t agree with what he is doing now. So, I started thinking that I would write my own views about what is happening over there and how I feel about what Obama is doing now, which I found somehow distressing, he seems a changed man, since they lost the presidential election. I know that what I am doing now is not my business, because I don’t live in America and I am not an American citizen, but so what, when you feel that you have something to say, then it would be better if you say it anyhow.

Now, this is only my opinion, and I don’t claim that I am perfect in this politics matters, but in my personal views, President Obama is doing the unthinkable, because he gets busy to do what would have been better left alone. He could have left everything as it is until the new president and new administration takes over. But he seems to feel personally hurt, because his party didn’t win the last Presidential elections, so, he wants to blame other people for his own failure. He is still thinking that he could win an election again, and perhaps he could, because he is a very good speaker, but that might not be enough to win elections. Because sometimes you need original policies that the people like to win them. Also, to be a president, you should be able to be right with your policies all the time, which is very hard to achieve. So, he should look at what he has done during his time has president, and ask himself, if there was something that he could have done better, which I believe there are a few things that he could have done better.

So, one could ask, what is wrong with him? Is he not aware that he has made some minor mistakes during his term? Yes, he has made some mistakes because he did. I believe that he has never done much during his eight years in office, at least this is how most people will see it in the wide world, but the worst part is that he does not admit that he did something wrong, so, he still believes that what made him win his two-presidential election would still work today, which in my opinion, it is not possible, because things change, and also people like to change to other policies.   

So, one could ask what sort of mistakes were made during his term? To answer that question one should go back to see what Obama beliefs were, and how he would have liked to run the American politics, which he did, but could never fulfil what he wanted to do. One of the reasons why he could not achieve what he wanted to do, it was because he did not put the welfare of all Americans first, he sided with the poor and the American-African people, because he is an American-African himself. Now, I should ask for forgiveness for using the term American-African, but I had to make it clear, because Barack Obama did not try to stop his friends doing nasty things, since he feels that he is one of them.  

In my opinion, no leader should put at risk his own law and order government force, like the police and other institutions created to uphold the law of the country, but Obama did, because he didn’t state to the people that he represented clearly that the police forces were doing their job, and if (they) the people would follow their orders it would have been better, since everything would run in a more peaceful way. But what Obama did was the following, most times he was saying that he sided with the trouble maker people, telling them that he was on their side, and he was calling an investigation. Being the top leader of the most powerful nation on earth, Obama should have known better and should have tried harder to stop what was going on. He should have told the people first to respect the law and be good honest citizen, so that the police had no reason to punish them.

Therefore, this Obama behaviour made things worse, because those people that were robing went on robing and became more violent against the police. One would ask, what sort of leader is that? I believe that no leader should side with anybody. What has happened and is happening in America is proof of that. Therefore, it is a good thing that the entire administration is changing, and they can start all over again in a new direction, with somebody else as President.

Other Obama things I cannot agree with.

Now, we have talked about the American people only, but what about the foreign policies that I cannot agree with. I know that here again it is not my business because it does not affect me directly, but nevertheless I have an opinion, which I would like to share.

One of those foreign policies that I don’t agree with, it is the way Obama administration has done to Israel, after so many years of backing Israel they left Israel on its own, at least this is how I understand the situation, so, let us talk a bit about this.

We should admit that Israel seems doing something that does not agree with their neighbour. But at the same time Israel has the right to exist. So, the Israelite neighbours are even worse than Israel. Because they don’t want to accept that Israel exists and is there to stay. They should ask themselves, where do they think, the world can place a new nation of Israel? I am sure nowhere except where Israel is right now. So, the Arabic people should really understand that they cannot destroy an entire nation just because they don’t like it being there. If they use logic reasoning, which most times they don’t, and if they believe in any God that has created all humanity, it would be obvious that the planet earth is there for everybody to share.

Anyhow Obama did not back up Israel and there could be more problems from this decision. I believe that Obama should have done what America has done most times, and since he is going out soon he should have left out this decision to the new administration, especially because the new administration that is coming soon does not agree with what he has done.  

Today on the news, again some terrorist or deranged person has killed some Israelite soldiers with a truck. Maybe they are getting bolder since America does not back up Israel as they used to, so, this is possible, because they would like to think that Israel disappears altogether. Here I would like to point it out that in that corner of the Middle East, these fighting each other to possess that land, it has gone on since the beginning of the known history of mankind. I could say more if I describe some of the known history that is even written in the Bible, but I will stop here, since here we are talking what the American policies can cause.     

Just one more thing

This is about Barack Obama sending home 35 Russian diplomats, for taking part in some obscure spying on the internet, which in Obama beliefs caused the loss of the presidential election for Hilary Clinton. In my opinion, it would have been more helpful for themselves and America, if the outgoing president Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton forget about it, because this could only make it worse for everybody, what can they gain from this action. Nothing at all, now the elections are lost and they have to wait at least another 4 years, it they play it right. If they start doing silly thing like what they are doing now, by sending home some Russian diplomats, just because they feel hurt, then the 4 years might become 8 years or more. People usually remember these things.

At this very moment, it looks already bad for Obama, because the Russian President Vladimir Putin is not reacting and he is going to wait for the new American President to be sworn in, in the hope that they could fix this damage that Obama is creating. Perhaps Obama is creating this just to make it harder for the new administration.

Here, I want to point out that any good leader should put the nation he is leading first, and not his own personal desires. Anyhow I believe that I have said a few things already, so, I better stop writing about Obama leadership.

I believe that anyone reading this article are going to ask themselves, to which party I would belong, so let me explain. I don’t belong to Donald Trump’s party, because he backs the rich people only, but if he is able to use the rich people to give enough work to the middle class, then I could back him.  I am a bit more inclined to back Obama and Clinton party, if they stop following the poor blindly, and this poor section of the community that are usually greedy, and want to rob other people of their hard-earned things that they own.

In other words, if I was a voting American, I would like the Obama-Clinton party to have a policy that looks more to the hard-working middle class and not just those poor people that are unwilling to work and want to rip anybody off, for any reason at all. You see today most politicians make this mistake, they don’t care much about the hard-working middle class, because they try hard to look after themselves. But the politicians should realize that those are the people that make the nation great, and if the politicians side only with the poor people, then the nation soon or later will become poor. I hope you see my point of view.

Breaking away from my farm life

Dear readers, this post is the continuation of our last post, my harsh destiny, so, let us continue from where we left. Click edit above to add content to this empty capsule.

For about twelve years I lived this farm life; so, the only time that I had a real break from farming was when I was called to go in the army, which in Italy was/is a compulsory service to the country, which every able young male must serve when one turns twenty-one years old or soon after that. Then when the army released me I migrated to Australia, and I was then in my early twenties. I was young and not afraid to do hard work, since I had learned in the farm that we needed to work hard to earn our living.

But let me say just a few words about this service in the Italian army of those times, being in the compulsory Italian army is a hard life for anybody, for a start you are not paid or you are paid so little that you believe that you are not paid at all; and then everybody laments about everything especially about the discipline, as for myself I did not find it very hard like some complain it is, but at the same time it was, because you do what you are told to do, at the same time you learn something new because you are exposed to a different way of living. But the hardest part of it all is that the compulsory army of those times, they didn’t pay us, we only got free food free clothes and just enough money to by some cigarettes if one was a smoker. Anyhow it is good to be in the army and learn a new way of life, it makes you feel better when that is over and done with; some of the old people think that after you have been in the army, you have really become a man of the world, because of that extra experience that you learn in the army.

But, let me go back to tell you about my life in the farm and what it did to me. Because as I have already mentioned before, the farm life of those times was not what one would prescribe for a young man like me, if one wanted me as a young man to develop my potential properly, so that, I could be ready to meet the challenge of life when I would be older, in all sorts of communities not just farming a small farm.

But you see, as we have already mentioned, at the time when all this happened to me, no one could have ever thought of the forth coming changing world, and of the difficulties that I and some of the other boys that shared the same fate as me would have to face in later life. Just because the way of life happened to change so much and so fast, when we were young.

Now, in order to understand how unfair it was for me and for those youths of my time who ended up in the farms like myself, I have to convey to you the different set up of this town of Genzano; the way that people separate each other in classes, not because they like to be different to each other, but because they are different, and therefore they think and talk in different ways, so they group themselves with their equal, because they feel more at ease that way: But in reality they are somehow all equal, as all the groups need each other soon or later.

There are reasons to believe that this way of life would usually happen everywhere else in the world in small towns, where there are two main groups of people in every community: There are those who live directly from the land, which are called the rural community, and those who work in town in all sorts of jobs, which would be called just town’s people and they include; shop keepers, doctors, vets, craftsmen, clerks, schools and school teachers, priests, policemen, (carabinieri which are Italian policemen), guardians, and every other sort of jobs that one can think of, in order to run a town properly; and then all the rest of the population, like whole families and women and children, so that a town would be self-reliant.

Anyhow at a certain stage of my life I started to become aware that I had to break away from this type of farm living, because a lot of things were changing and we didn’t earn enough from the small farm that we had, so it was time for us young that would have been farmers to change also, but let me say a bit more about my farm life views and the town I have come from, so that it would be better for my readers to understand what was going on at those times, in the fifties and there about. After all, those old times will not come back anymore, and it would be good to have at least a sort of record written here, in order to remember how those times were.

So in my next article, let me continue to talk about my farm life views, followed by several other articles about my farm life, and then talk about the town of Genzano and its communities, to explain better how those times were, in the fifties and earlier; not only because I want to tell you my life story, but also because a sort of record is being written and kept, in these internet articles that could be available to the public for a long time in the future. 

Now let me explain here, my farm life views, is going to be postponed, because there are a few things that I would like to write about and they are happening now, so, I will be writing a few posts about these issues and then we will go back to tell you my life story.

In life there might be a thing called destiny, which we might have without knowing it. If there is, then my destiny is a harsh destiny.

My harsh destiny

Dear readers, this post is the continuation of our last post, My farm life experience, so, let us continue.Click edit above to add content to this empty capsule.

As I was saying before, when we are born in a family that event somehow decides also our destiny, because of the way that family lives and have lived perhaps for centuries; but there is more to say about our destiny, because some of us would like to believe that we are born with a destiny to fulfil, and if it is so, then my destiny is not a bright one, because from the beginning of my life I have had a hard life and this has continued during my life, perhaps it will still continue until I die, but anyhow let us go back to my life story in the farm, whether it was my destiny or not.

As I have already mentioned above about my own farm life when I was young, and there I reckon and feel that it was really unfair to my personal self, and to those youths that had to live in the farm as I did, this fact of life I will continue to describe to you at length and in depth as I keep writing on, since the main point that I want to make here is to show you how I had to struggle and to suffer while I was living in the farm, and even later on in the future as we will see, from these articles that I am writing. In fact, for me life was going to be much harder than I thought, since that way of life which I had lived in the farm had left me so far backward, because of that isolation that existed in the farms, I even lacked in local general knowledge about the people of the town, and also in communication skills including all those nice things that a person says and does, which would make that same person attractive to the rest of the community.

Here I have also to say that this early disadvantaged way of life has affected me greatly for the rest of my life, and although I have tried to improve myself during my life, I have never been able to catch up with the rest of the world completely. So that, I feel it within me even now, as if I will never be completely satisfied with myself, because I think that I could have been better off, if I had a different and better way of life when I was young to start with.

But since what’s been done is done, so, one cannot go back and do it in a different way, therefore, I am/was stuck with it. Therefore, I had to put up with my backward way of life; and I had to accept that the only possible way that was left for me to earn a living for the rest of my life, had to be that I had to do hard physical work, which I did in a way or another and this hard work has helped me to overcome some of my drawbacks. From this life experience one could say that we should always try to improve ourselves and work hard for it, even when it is hard for us to find an easy way of life, if we are able to keep this attitude and work hard during our lives, we would be able to overcome many issues that could otherwise run us down completely.

Now let us continue to tell my life story; anyhow, at the time when all this hard and boring life was happening to us, including all those young people which used to live and work in this town’s farms, doing this same work as I did, and I have to say that it all seemed normal to us, because even our forebears before us did that, as they had all lived this same way for centuries before us.

As I was saying also my forbears used to live in this town that I was born, and in which I had to live my youth just like them. But, most of my youth and I mean the most important years of my young life, which is the time when a youth would be better off to stay in a society and learn the ways of that society, and at the same time try to find out the meanings of life, which would help him to learn how to deal with his life in the future in the society that we would be living in; all those years were spent to live in our family farm and not in the town itself, and this did put me in a disadvantaged position from the very start, as I have already mentioned before, all because everything in the world was changing too fast and farming the old way was on the way out.

Anyhow, because of the changes that happen in life, some of us youths that did live this hard life in our family farm, would try to change it, if we could. So, I was one of those youths that did just that. So, I am going to tell you this in my next post, Breaking away from my farm life.
